Stephanie is a pink-haired, energetic, roseate 8 year old girl, who's motto is "There's Always A Way!"
She's 'new in town' and stays with her Uncle Milford, the Mayor of LazyTown. Stephanie is usually seen doing something active, such as playing sports, dancing, singing, or hangin' with the town's favorite superhero, Sportacus, as well as spending time with her friends.
Her optimism is slightly reminiscent of Paul McCartney from The Beatles ("It's Getting Better All The Time!").
She's no stranger to the 'lazy world', however, and can sometimes be tricked into eating junkfood by a sneaky galoot who goes by the name, Robbie Rotten.
But she always bounces back in the end, and tries to set a good example for the other kids in town (Pixel, Stingy and Trixie) by
eating 'Sports Candy' - aka -
fruits 'n veggies.
Stephanie is a very important character to LazyTown, because she shows all the young girls out there who are watching, that they too can follow their dreams. They can become singers, dancers, athletes, musicians, or anything they want to be. She builds up the subdued self-esteem in kids everywhere! Not only for things like eating healthy, exercising, getting proper sleep, but just plain believing in themselves, and standing up to those who try to stomp them down. And that, is an invaluable lesson in all walks of life.
