The percipient of LazyTown is Magnús Scheving. He was born on November 10th, 1964 in Reykjavík, Iceland. He has blonde hair, blue eyes, and is 5' 8½" (1.74 m) tall.
Magnús is a writer, world-class athlete, architect, carpenter, entrepreneur, and the producer and directer of the LazyTown show. Scheving also produced and hosted his own talk show, being a well-known comedian and public entertainer in his home country (Iceland).
He has written a series of books for children based on his idea of Latibær, all becoming bestsellers; some of these books have turned into theatre musical plays written by Scheving himself.
